Troop 128 is proud to offer Scouting opportunities for girls, with a dedicated Girls' Troop established on February 1, 2019 — the first day Boy Scouts of America officially opened its doors to girls and transitioned its older youth program as Scouts BSA. Our troop is open to young women ages 11 to 17 and provides the same adventure and leadership opportunities as the boys' program, including the path to achieving the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. Over the past few years, our girls have excelled, participating in numerous camping outings, leading community service projects, and earning a variety of merit badges and rank advancements. With a strong focus on the outdoors, the Girls' Troop participates in over 20 outings per year, including high-adventure trips and a week-long summer camp.
