Troop 128 Dominates 4MR District Projectoree
Troop 128 had an outstanding performance at the Four Mile Run District Annual Projectoree, sweeping the competition with first, second, and third place finishes. The Troop also took home the coveted Scoutmaster’s Chariot race trophy, demonstrating both skill and teamwork. Events ranged from “Patrol See-Saw” and “Radioactive Basketball” to “Nuclear Reactor” and “Spider Web Escape,” all showcasing the Scouts’ diverse abilities. Although Troop 128 has recently been realigned to the Difficult Run District, the Four Mile Run District has been exceptionally welcoming, allowing us to continue participating in this beloved event. This longstanding tradition of friendly competition highlights the strong camaraderie and spirit present among local Troops year after year.
Centennial Court of Honor
Troop 128 held a special Centennial Court of Honor to celebrate the advancement of our Scouts and honor the leaders who have positively impacted the lives of countless Scouts throughout the years. We were privileged to have Delegate Richard C. ("Rip") Sullivan, Jr. and Supervisor James N. ("Jimmy") Bierman, Jr. join us for the occasion. During the ceremony, 17 rank advancements and numerous merit badges were awarded to 31 of Troop 128's Scouts. We also recognized Scoutmasters and Troop 128 volunteers for their dedicated service to the troop from past to present.
